Refund Policy (Global – Enterprise Compliance Framework)
Cameralux functions as a digital platform enabling live and on-demand interactions between users and independent content creators (“Models”). Cameralux doesn’t supply the content directly but provides access to services delivered by third-party independents.
All services are digital, instantly accessible, and highly subjective in nature. Due to these traits, transactions are typically final and non-refundable, except in specific cases outlined below or where mandated by law.
1. Nature of Services and Platform Limits
Users explicitly understand that:
- All services happen live or via immediate digital delivery
- Models are independent contractors, not Cameralux staff
- Cameralux does not manage, oversee, or guarantee Model conduct
- Experiences vary widely depending on user expectations and Model engagement
Given this setup, Cameralux cannot promise results, satisfaction, or consistent performance.
Subjective disappointment, such as unmet hopes or personal tastes, does not qualify for refunds.
2. General Refund Qualifications
Refunds only apply in objectively provable situations.
Qualifying cases include:
- Technical breakdowns at platform level blocking service access
- System mistakes causing wrong token charges
- Documented failure of a Model to deliver the agreed service
All claims must be backed by evidence and are reviewed internally.
3. Specific Service Scenarios
Refund eligibility is judged according to real usage conditions:
- Connection Interruptions: Partial refunds may apply if caused by Cameralux infrastructure
- User Network Issues: No refunds if problem lies with user’s device or internet
- Model Disconnects: Considered based on session length and context
- Partial Sessions: Proportional refund for unused time
- Interactive Disputes: No refunds for subjective disagreements
4. Payment Handling Situations
These payment issues are addressed:
- Duplicate Billing: Full refund granted after verification
- Pending Payments: May clear automatically depending on provider
- Authorization vs Capture: Holds are not actual charges
- Delayed Settlements: Depends on payment processor times
Cameralux is not liable for delays or errors caused by banks or payment systems.
5. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be sent within 72 hours (3 days) of the transaction.
Requests should include enough detail to allow investigation.
Submit claims via:
Late claims may be denied.
6. How Refunds Are Calculated
Approved refunds factor in:
- Time spent in the session
- Tokens used
- Availability of the service
Refund types include:
- Full refund (rare)
- Partial refund (proportional)
- Platform credit
Cameralux retains sole discretion over compensation decisions.
7. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
Users must:
- Manage subscription settings
- Cancel before renewal date
No refunds for:
- Unused subscription time
- Missed cancellations
- Partially used services
8. Transactions That Are Not Refundable
- Completed live sessions
- Recorded shows and premium content
- Partially used token bundles
- Cryptocurrency payments
9. Chargebacks and Fraud Prevention
Chargebacks or attempts to block payments after service use are seen as fraud.
Examples include:
- Disputing valid transactions post-use
- Repeated refund abuse
- Unauthorized claims after participating
Consequences:
- Immediate account termination
- Permanent ban
- Recovery of losses
- Reporting to payment providers and authorities
Users are responsible for:
- Chargeback fees
- Admin costs
- Investigation expenses
10. Refund Requests Through Banks
Raising disputes through banks without contacting Cameralux first may lead to account suspension.
Users should attempt resolution with Cameralux Support initially.
11. Consumer Rights by Jurisdiction
This Policy does not override mandatory local consumer protections.
Where local laws apply, they take precedence.
12. European Union and United Kingdom
By buying digital services:
- Users agree services start immediately
- Users waive withdrawal rights once service begins
13. Brazil
The 7-day "cooling off" right applies only before using the service.
Once accessed, this right may no longer apply.
14. South Africa
Refunds comply with local laws and regulations.
Due to the instant digital nature, refunds remain limited.
15. Fraud Monitoring and Risk Management
Cameralux employs advanced tools to detect abuse:
- Behavioural analysis
- Transaction monitoring
- Risk scoring
Suspicious accounts may face restrictions or closure.
16. Liability Limits
Cameralux is not liable for:
- User dissatisfaction
- Model conduct
- Technical interruptions
- External payment issues
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
17. Indemnification
Users agree to hold Cameralux harmless from claims or damages arising from misuse or violations.
18. Final Notes
Cameralux maintains a firm but fair refund system balancing user protection with fraud prevention.
By using this platform, you accept this Refund Policy.
Important: Models aren’t required to fulfill every user request.
